If you're looking for a new and unique stocking stuffer gift idea this Christmas, you may want to consider the Hexbug Nano. I had the chance to review one and can see where this little toy would be a lot of fun for children (not recommended for children under 3 years old though due to small parts).

When I received the Hexbug Nano in the mail I was completely intrigued. I had never seen anything like it before. I took it out of it's "test tube" packaging and turned it on only to find that it scurries across the floor or hard surfaces much like a real bug! It's really fast and quite fun to watch.

The Hexbug Nano is a tiny, collectible, micro robotic creature that uses vibration to propel itself forward and move around. It is made with a small motor and 12 fixed angular legs helping it to continue to move around, even when it hits something. It even has the ability to flip to its feet and zoom forward when on its back!! The Hexbug Nano comes in an assortment of colors and patterns including green, blue, red, orange and purple. Each also comes with a unique code to use online to track your collection and play fun games.
I think Hexbug Nano would make a terrific gift idea, especially a stocking stuffer, for both males and females, young and old!

Buy It: The Hexbug Nano can be purchased at Toys R Us and RadioShack stores nationwide or at www.hexbug.com for an MSRP of $7.99!
