Like many moms out there, I thoroughly enjoy shopping for my kids. I have found the best way to find one of a kind, high quality products is to shop online. In 2009, the Chic Monkey Boutique was born. Then owner, Cristie, had a vision of being able to offer the expensive trendy baby items she saw all in one place at affordable prices. In April of 2010, she decided to open her own photography business and sold Chic Monkey Boutique to her mom. The goal is still to have a one-stop-shop where moms can find affordable, high quality baby products....some of which are even handmade! Their line of products has grown to now include items not just for babies, but also kids and beyond. You'll even find fashionable accessories for moms, monogrammed gifts, and much more! And the best part...it's all in ONE place!

As I browsed the Chic Monkey Boutique I realized it was SO much more than I initially thought it would be. They offer everything from baby and kids products to monogrammed gifts and items for the home. I couldn't believe the incredible selection of products offered and was especially impressed with the items that are handmade...like the Minky Blankets and Soft Cloth Baby Shoes! Aren't they just adorable?! I absolutely love the unique fabrics and the cute little shoes! The shoes are actually custom made so if you don't see a size you need, pick a color and she will make the size!

I couldn't have been happier when I learned we were going to have the opportunity to review something from their Toys & Games section and decided to go with the Pizza Party Pretend Play Toy.
With two little ones, our toys need to last through the wear and tear of daily use. That's why I am a huge fan of sturdy wooden toys and was very excited to check out this great personal pizza toy!

When the product arrived I was immediately impressed with the great quality! I am very happy with the sturdy wooden pieces and know this is something that will last us a very long time! I also appreciate the wooden box it comes in which makes it easy to keep everything in place.

I couldn't wait to get it out and see what Kaelyn thought of it. She loves to help make real pizza, so I had a feeling this was going to be a big hit. I was right! She absolutely loves it!!

At first I was a little nervous that the Velcro would not be enough to hold everything together, but I couldn't have been more wrong. The Velcro allows each topping piece to securely sit on top of the pizza as well as each piece of pizza to attach to one another.

Kaelyn has a blast taking off all the toppings and placing them back on. She thinks it's great to be able to make the pizza exactly like she wants (with pepperoni, mushrooms and peppers) and is constantly asking us if she can 'make us supper' in her playroom. I love when toys encourage pretend play...and this one definitely does!

She is tickled to have her very own spatula and pizza cutter and loves to cut each piece for us. When the pizza is cut, the Velcro actually makes a slicing sound. It's very neat and adds a realistic touch.

I am very happy with the quality and fun the Pizza Party Pretend Play Toy offers. I have found it to be something that not only encourages pretend play...but also a great activity for Kaelyn to practice matching and sorting. She is very particular about sorting each of the toppings and matching them together. It's neat how even the simplest of toys can encourage such important skills!
