There are many evenings when we get busy with homework and catching up with the kids after school, that we’re left with wondering what to have for dinner. When it’s 5:00 and everyone is hungry, our Instant Pot comes in SUPER handy! The other night I decided to try some frozen chicken legs that I had in the freezer. I threw some green beans and water in the bottom, then placed the chicken on the trivet that came with our IP. It was a quick and easy meal, and the whole family approved!
*6 frozen chicken legs
*2 cups water
*bag of frozen green beans
*bbq sauce (as much as desired)
*salt and pepper to taste
1. Pour bag of green beans and 2 cups water to the bottom of the IP.
2. Put trivet in and place frozen chicken legs on top (mine were a frozen block).
3. Sprinkle some salt and pepper on the chicken if you like, then Spoon BBQ over the top of chicken legs, and spread over the them.
4. Close and lock lid, turning the vent to seal. Set for 25 minutes on the poultry setting and let natural pressure release (this took about 20 minutes but was well worth it with how tender the chicken turned out)!
