Here’s another family favorite and one that’s SO SO quick and easy to make!!
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- minced onion
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 1-pound box medium shell pasta
- 1 24-ounce jar marinara sauce (I used Barilla brand)
- 3 cups water
- 1 – 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Turn Instant Pot to saute setting and brown the ground beef until cooked through
Season with minced onion, sea salt, pepper, and garlic powder, and hit the cancel button.
Add shells over ground beef, then add the marinara sauce and water. DO NOT stir, but press lightly with spoon to ensure pasta is completely covered with sauce and water
Place lid on Instant Pot, close, and make sure vent is set to the sealing position
Hit Manual for 5 minutes (next time I might even try 4 as the noodles were a little more done than I would have liked), or half the cooking time on the box of pasta.
When pressure cooking is done, do a quick release waiting for the red pin to drop, then remove lid and hit cancel button to turn IP off.
Stir in heavy cream and cheddar cheese. Serve and Enjoy!
